Texture Straight Images

I really like this photo of the leaf, I got this idea from an image which is shown in my Texture image bank.The reason I like this photo is because you can clearly see texture within this image through the veins on the leaf. Another reason in which I like this image and believe it clearly conveys texture because the edges of the leaf look as if it would feel rough.




I also got inspiration for this image when searching images for my image bank. However I managed to get more texture included in this image rather than just the berries. This includes the texture of the stem connecting the berries together along with the leaves on behind the berries. Not to mention the texture that is seen on the berries themselves.


The rust on the bar conveys a really good sense of texture because the way it "drips" down the metal. The reason this creates good texture making this a better photo is because it makes the viewer focus on it and the follow it straight across the image. Alongside this, at the bottom of the bar, you can see debris that also forms some texture in the photo, however due to the focus it isn't as clear to the first glimpse (which is another reason why I like it).


 Trees hold a good sense of texture- most trees anyway. This is clearly shown in this image of the tree trunk. The reason I chose this photo as one to include in my straight images because I like how the focus on the trunk in the front is the trunk with the most texture on which is helped conveyed through colour and lighting because as it was taken on quite a dull day it made it easier to focus close up on the tree, also the green helps show the contrast between that and the white-ish colour showing more texture on the tree.



Even though to many this would be a simple image of converse, I like the way this conveys texture in a simplistic form and is only clear to the eye when you look deeper into the photo. The reason I wanted the person who was wearing the shoes to bend their foot was because the crease on the bend makes the element of texture very clearly which is why I like this image.
