Colour Straight Images

These are my favorite photos from the ones I took for Colour.

The reason I like this image is because I like how the colours disperse across the image. I also like how the whole castle of bricks is eye catching and isn't lost with the rest of the colour in the photo. Even though the colours aren't highly saturated I would still consider this to be a very "fun" image to look at... Maybe that's because it's all toys, although I still really like this image.

I believe this image is a great one to convey analogous colours because they are all different shades of red going from light to pure and dark red. I also like how the angle of this photo captures the whole rack of nail varnishes. With the blur all around the varnishes I feel like it gives more depth onto the colours.

This photo is really good a showing the element of colour because if the railing wasn't there, it would just be a massive red plant pot, however the fact the railings are green and separate the pot in sections I feel like it really helps capture the colourful aspect. Furthermore, I really like this image because it doesn't matter that the saturation is low, it still looks really intriguing with the colours fillings the whole piece.

My reason for choosing this picture as one of my favorite images is because there a very low amount of colour. However this makes the point with colour on (the red) very eye drawing. Another reason I like this photo is because of the angle of the photo creating depth of the traffic light pole. The angle also makes the pole cross the entire of the image- but diagonal, this makes me like this image more because if it was straight it would be very boring, it would just be another traffic light crossing, yet this is from a low angle facing up.

Finally, I like this image purely for the fact of the pastel colours which it holds. The fact that the colours are spread out across the whole image makes this much better. Although to change this image to improve it even better, I would make sure the lights wouldn't be in the background because the light takes off focus from the colours. However I like the angle of this as it shows direction.
