I really like this image, how the lines of the road lead the attention of the viewer towards the moon. There are four different lines within this image which are leading the eye, two white that are consistent, then 2 yellow, one consistent and one that stops and starts. The reason I like this image is because I like the landscape being created by the lines- even the thicker lines of the clouds or the horizon line in the distance.
This is one of my favorite line images that I found because the use of the lines are amazing and beautiful to follow across the image. Not only are there leading lines for the path, there are lines with in the tree branches. The branches are the main reason why I like it, the jagged lines create a wonder of the image, as if they are hanging over something which we cannot see. The reason for my liking towards this image is because even if it was black and white I feel the image would still have the same effect, which is what you want to happen when creating images with Lines as the main focus point.
Again this is another image that I really like (not just because I like the beach). There is many ways in which you can see lines with in this image, for example there is one big line of beach huts all along this image. On the beach huts themselves, they have lines that separate each beach hut from the next and then there's also lines upon the roof tops and then across the front. The reason I like this image is also due to the calming emotion this photo creates because of the use of Horizontal lines.
This is another photo which I chose to use within my image bank of lines because I like the way the main lines are only on one side (the Right) and then they lead you into the far distance. The use of the green thick lines within the railing, creates an unsure feeling due to directions of lines being both horizontal and vertical. Not only are the use of lines why I like this image, it is also the fact of focus and depth used. When you look closely you can see an outline of a person, which suggests they are far away, also the way the railing stops at a point suggests again its a wide shot/frame distance.
I like the use of leading lines in this photo because it isn't just straight lines down the middle of the photo, they curve throughout the image and go out. The following of the focus from the audience makes this a photo that I find inspiring as this is a way I intend to do when I go out on my shoot
Finally, I have chosen this photo for my image bank because just like the one above, I like this misdirection of the emotions, making the viewer not know how to feel when looking at it- maybe a sense of wonder. Not only this but due to the image being in black there's no focus taken away from the lines all around the photo.
