Texture Image Bank

I chose this image because I like the way you can clearly see the veins in the leaf which is why I like this image. I believe this gives it good texture which is why I find this an inspiring photo as this is how I would like to portray with in my images. Another reason I like this photo is because the focus on the leaf, the fact the lighting blurs the back of the leaf puts more focus on the texture on it. 

 I like this image and believe it conveys texture in a really good way. Even though the eye would automatically think the texture would be each of the round berries, when you look closer you can see white specs which also gives the element of texture. I think this inspiring because I think the fact there's more texture with in, I would like to recreate an image in this way.

The simplicity of this photo is the main reason why I chose it as an inspiring image because you can clearly see the textures with in the creases on the paper. Furthermore, this image is really good at showing the viewer texture because you can see a variety of different shaped creases giving the effect of texture very well the way in which I intend to do when I take my own images of Texture.   

This is one of my favorite images which I found whilst researching Texture. This is because normally people would say the eye/pupil is flat, yet due to lighting and the focus on the eye, you can see a texture on the lines within. I find this image very inspiring because I personally find it a very interesting photo to look at, which is how I want other to feel when looking at my photography. 

I like the way in which the rain drops creates the element of texture as it is also joined by the most important element, light. The reason this is why I like it is because each piece of rain conveys a sort of "lump" that when you look at it you see texture, yet when you would touch it, it would wipe away, as if the texture was non-existent in the first place. However as this is just an image this wouldn't be a problem for the viewer to stop seeing texture.


Finally, I hope to recreate an image like this because I find this an inspiring photo for texture. The simplicity of the tree trunk with it's cracks is a great way to convey the element of texture, the way in which I intend to do.
